Virtual Chapters
Wisconsin offers virtual chapters for middle and high school students who do not have a FBLA chapter at their local school, are homeschooled, or a virtual student.

About Virtual Chapters
Wisconsin FBLA has created a "virtual FBLA chapter" for the middle and high school divisions to reach those students whose schools do not have an organized FBLA chapter and would not otherwise be able to take advantage of membership in Wisconsin or National FBLA.
Virtual Chapter Guidelines
-
The name of this chapter shall be the Wisconsin Virtual Middle School or Wisconsin Virtual High School chapter.
-
The chapter's physical address shall be the location of the Wisconsin FBLA State Office.
-
The Wisconsin FBLA State Adviser serves as the official adviser for the chapter, but does not serve as a chaperone for members at conferences and events.
Membership
-
Membership is open to any student enrolled in a school that does not have an active FBLA chapter, to any homeschooled student, or to any student enrolled in a virtual or physical charter school. Students in schools with an active FBLA chapter are not permitted to be members of the virtual chapter.
-
Members shall complete an online application that will be signed by a parent providing permission for a student to participate in the Wisconsin Virtual FBLA chapter.
-
Dues shall be the same as the other Wisconsin FBLA divisions: $17 - High School, $16 - Middle School
-
Members must have a computer, internet connection, and a functioning email address to attend virtual meetings (as needed)
Finances
-
Wisconsin FBLA will not pay any travel or conference expenses for students or chaperones to participate in FBLA functions. All expenses must be incurred by the member and his/her parents or guardians.
Membership Benefits
-
Members of the virtual chapter shall be entitled to participate in any Wisconsin FBLA events based on attendance restrictions that apply to those events.
-
Members may compete at the Regional and State Leadership Conferences with adult supervision, and the student and adult must comply with the Delegate Code of Conduct.
-
Members may attend the Regional Leadership Conference in their area where their home is located with adult supervision, and the member must comply with all policies established for the conference.
