• Chaperone Policy

  • High School -- 15:1 for all registered students in attendance as of the cancellation deadline.

  • Middle School -- 12:1 for all registered students as of the cancellation deadline.

• Event will take place on February 1 (High School) or January 25 (Middle School) regardless of weather.

• Chapter advisers are expected to support RLC regardless of the number of members you have attending on the day of the event. If your chapter does not have a representative at the RLC, your entire chapter will face disqualification.

• No projectors will be allowed by competitors.

• Bring your own device to present to judges. No AV equipment is provided.

• All objective tests will be taken online, both in advance and the day of RLC.

• Pencils are the responsibility of the student. These will not be provided.

• Calculators are NOT allowed.

• Prejudged items will not be available to students or judges on the day of RLC.

• Public Speaking rooms are not guaranteed to have lecterns.

• Student IDs will be required for check-in for tests and performance events. IDs may be physical or electronic versions.

• RLC Chaperone Override Form - State Office will process all Overrides after 4 PM on December 13

• Competitor Cancellation Request Form - State Office will process all cancellations following the cancellation deadline of December 20. Following this date, no additional refunds or cancellations will be processed.
