The SLC Student Delegate Code of Conduct Form must be collected for each student attending SLC, and the local adviser is responsible for having all forms at the State Leadership Conference and adhere to these expectations at all times. This is not submitted to the state office.

• Outstanding FBLA Member - Each chapter can recognize one student member who gone above to support FBLA at the state and local level. State officers are automatically recognized in this program. Submission Deadline of March 1.

Performance Events

Projectors will not be allowed during preliminary or final rounds of competition. We will be following the National Guideline noted below related to external monitors and speakers.

• Competitors present directly from a laptop/ device in the preliminary and final round of competition

• Screens and projectors are not allowed for use during preliminary or final rounds of competition. Competitors are NOT allowed to bring their own.

• Power will NOT be available

• Competitors can present with and bring any of the following into the performance as long as it fits on the table in front of the judges or is held by the competitors: 

  • Laptop

  • Tablet

  • Mobile phone

  • External monitor that is approximately the size of a laptop monitor

Individual and Team Objective Tests

Students competing in Individual or Objective test events will be testing online at SLC. All competitors will need to provide their own, fully charged, device to complete the objective test. More information is provided on these detailed directions.

Skill Events

Students competing in Skill Events (Computer Applications, Database Design & Applications, Spreadsheet Applications, and Word Processing) begin testing at their home schools on February 19. If you have a student in one of these events, be sure to have your chapter registration completed before Feb. 16 so the local test administrator can receive directions for your student. The skill event testing window ends on March 1 at 4pm.

Special Sunday Green Bay Packer Tour

• Chapters have the exclusive opportunity to tour Lambeau Field and the Hall of Fame if arriving in Green Bay on Sunday, April 7. See flyer for all the details and how to reserve your tour time.

Food At State

• Meals Included at SLC: Snack/Treat Break on Monday and Tuesday

Dress Code

• The dress code for the WI SLC will follow the national FBLA dress code guidelines.

National Anthem Auditions

• If you have a talented singer who will be attending SLC, have them consider auditioning to sing the National Anthem at the Opening Session. Please fill out the National Anthem Audition Form to apply.

State T-Shirt

• Chapters have the opportunity to order a state t-shirt when completing their registration in Blue Panda. Shirts are $18 each and run from small to 5XL in size.

All tours will be $15 and are automatically added to your chapter invoice. Capacities are listed and all registration is on a first come basis. Please check the schedule at a glance to be sure that students who sign up for tours will not have a competitive event conflict during the tour time. This is especially true of performance events. Leadership Academy participants should NOT sign up for a tour.

Registration

• Registration will open in Blue Panda on February 5, 2024 and close on February 16 @ 4 PM

• Chapters must register all qualifying competitors from RLC and any State only competitors. Advisers will be notified of alternates who will need to be registered as cancellations are made known to the State Office on the Competitor Cancellation Request form.  If you need to cancel a competitor in an event, the form must be completed by Friday, February 23.

• Registration is $75 per person (students, advisers, chaperones, guests, etc.)

• Request for Accommodations - due Friday, March 1

Who Can Attend SLC?

• Regional Qualifiers 1st-3rd place and State Level Only Competitive Event Participants

• Chapter Event Representative (up to 3 can present; however, only 1 can be newly registered for SLC. The other two can be other competitors already attending SLC)

•  Leadership Academy Participants (up to 2 per chapter)

•  State or National Officer Candidates

•  Newly Elected Regional VPs

•  Current State Officers

•  National Qualifiers in the following challenges: Virtual Business Management, Virtual Business Finance, Life Smarts, the Stock Market Game, Lead4Change, and Intuit.

•  Paid FBLA Members who are Foreign Exchange Students (up to 2 per chapter)

•  Chapters with less than 2 qualifying participants can register with an adviser

•  Prospective Chapters - up to 2 students and 1 adult

The submission of this form is limited to only educational staff authorized as a local chapter adviser.
